Mission Statement

U Miami Clubs

With 50+ dedicated teams, Miami Club Sports boasts one of the largest programs in the country. While some club sports have coaches, most are completely student-driven with advisement from coaches, advisers, and the Club Sports Office. We offer a unique combination of community and commitment while we compete for national titles and develop real-world leadership skills. Clubs are self-managed through a team of student officers with positions ranging from president to safety officer. Miami Club Sports strive to redefine the student-athlete by balancing academics, leadership, community, and athletic achievement. The purpose of a club sport is to participate in physical activity with the primary emphasis being off-campus competition and instruction. A club sport has a conference, division, or governing body that oversees the rules & regulations associated with the sport. Club sports teams compete against other colleges and universities, intramural sports compete on campus between other Miami students.
